Composting Model
Trip Overview
The model will work in a cyclic chain: Organic waste generated from business activities will be collected and classified -> composted (basal fertilizing) ->food for earthworms -> worm tea and fertilizers -> used for vegetables and crops in KyBiMo organic vegetable garden in a cyclic chain to reduce waste to the environment and reuse waste into resources.
Each month, KyBiMo garden is expected to collect and classify 2,000 kg of organic waste from restaurants and hotels of the company and other cooperated households' smoothie & juice bars, more than 1000 kg of green waste from the garden to compost as a food for earthworms. After 3 months, the above volume of waste will be decomposed and used as food for earthworms. The earthworms are then harvested to obtain 600 kg earthworm fertilizer as a fertilizer for the garden.
