Fruit Trees (Woody)

Trip Overview
With very sunny and rainy conditions of the Central region climate, woody fruit trees (perennials) are planted by local people in garden corners, home yards for shade. The deep root system of the woody trees helps them withstand drought, stand firm in storms and not waterlogged during floods. Local fruit trees such as star apple, mango, guava, longan, jackfruit, pomelo, custard apple, otaheite apple, etc., are grown. In addition, other local varieties such as Thai jackfruit, thick-skinned orange, langsat, flacourtia are also tested in the garden.
